Poem – The Order of Math

Two points of reference
Connected and formed a line
Two other points interfaced
And assembled another sign

These two lines crossed straight
In the centre of my heart
And I could feel the immense weight
Of what I tore apart
So long ago

Sacred geometry
Still just simple illustrations
Of much more abstract principles
Relationships of harmonies
And unified rhythms
On a wave of melody
The Universe is music
In the order of math

You brought me to my knees
To the centre of your heart
The sphinx looks and what it sees
It’s true and exposed in your art
To my great surprise

A constellation, you sparkle amid
The heart you have given
Believed in me more than I did
A heart shouldn’t be taken

Sacred geometry
Still just simple illustrations
Of much more abstract principles
Relationships of harmonies
And unified rhythms
On a wave of melody
The Universe is music
In the order of math

A quartet of references
The answer shining bright
Symbolical circumstances
The message hidden in plain sight
